Making Deadlines Work For You

A deadline is only useful when you can see its full context at a glance: how much time remains, how far along the work is, and whether other commitments cluster around the same date. This board keeps all of that in one lightweight, offline-capable view that updates in real time without any account, subscription, or server call. Your data lives in your browser and goes nowhere.

📊

The D-Day Counter

The D-day figure shows calendar days to the due date, negative when overdue. When a deadline is within 24 hours, it switches to a live HH:MM:SS countdown so you can see the time pressure at sub-minute granularity. The counter uses a smooth JavaScript timing loop and pauses automatically when the browser tab is hidden to preserve battery.

Progress Bars

If you give a deadline both a start date and a due date, the progress bar fills as a percentage of the elapsed span. Without a start date the bar is binary: empty until overdue, then full. The bar color tracks urgency: blue for comfortable timelines, amber for the coming week, and red for overdue items so the most critical things visually demand attention first.

Focus Windows

Focus windows are daily time ranges you can overlay on the calendar. They appear as a subtle blue-tint band on each day cell, roughly showing where in the day your best work hours fall. You can add multiple windows (for example, a morning block and an afternoon block) and they are combined into a single visualized range for compactness at calendar scale.
