Off by default. A gentle tone plays on line clears when raised.

Grace Rows

Traditional block games end when the stack reaches the top. Flow Stacks doesn't. When locked blocks rise into the hidden buffer zone above the visible playfield, Grace Rows activates: the topmost occupied rows are quietly removed one at a time at a calm, steady pace until your stack is safely back in range.

Your piece control never changes during recovery. No penalties, no jolts; just a gentle correction that lets you keep playing indefinitely.

Adaptive Calm Speed

When on, the game watches your recent input rhythm: actions per minute, timing consistency, and whether you are rapidly toggling directions or chaining hard drops. When it detects a frantic pattern, gravity slows slightly; as your rhythm steadies, it returns to normal.

The Sensitivity slider controls how strongly this feedback applies. Lower sensitivity makes the adjustment barely perceptible; higher sensitivity turns it into a more noticeable aid when things get hectic.

Calm Streak and Scoring

Points accumulate in two ways: line clears earn base points boosted by a calm bonus when your Calm Level is above 74%, and every second of continuous play adds a small "flow tick" reward. The longer you maintain steady, deliberate placement, the more your streak and score compound.

Your best calm streak is saved locally and persists across sessions.

Accessibility

Three block palettes are available, including Okabe-Ito, a widely-used colorblind-accessible scheme. High Contrast mode thickens cell outlines. Reduced Motion suppresses animation effects. On-screen controls appear automatically on any touch device and can be combined with swipe gestures directly on the board.
